• Labiaplasty: Labial hypertrophy is a condition whereby the labia minora is excessively large and protruding. This can cause discomfort, be prone to infection, cause hygiene problems and be aesthetically unappealing. In severe cases, the condition can cause emotional issues and problems in sexual intercourse.
  • In most cases, Labiaplasty surgery can be performed under local anesthesia.
  • CO2 laser or a radiofrequency “Ellman” device is used to perform the surgery
  • There are two kinds of surgical procedure that may be used, dependent upon the type of enlargement – ‘wedge’ resection and ‘v’ resection
  • Following the surgery, patients will need to take antibiotics and painkillers for three or four days.
  • Most women are able to return to work and resume normal activities within five days.

• Vaginal rejuvenation/ vaginoplasty: Vaginal laxity is a common problem with women who have multiple pregnancies and natural childbirths, or have undergone one or more episiotomies. The walls of the vagina can be rejuvenated using different methods, depending on the severity of the condition.
  • Non-surgical: A laser/ radio frequency device can be used to stimulate the collagen production in the area and reduce the size of the vaginal canal. However, the procedure requires several sessions and results can be unpredictable.
  • Surgical: The procedure is done under general anesthesia, with the surgeon repairing the vaginal wall and strengthening the muscles using deep sutures. After the procedure, patients will need to take antibiotics and painkillers. Most women are able to return to work and normal activities within five days.

• Mons ptosis and labial sagging: The natural ageing process can cause a loss of volume in the mons pubis and labia major, in some cases causing the appearance of sagging. Fat grafting, using “Coleman” technique, can restore a more plump, youthful appearance. During the procedure, fat is harvested from the thigh under local anaesthetic. The fat is then treated and prepared prior to being reinjected in the mons pubis and/or labia major. After the procedure, the patient will need to rest for two to three days.
